  • Ph.D. of Engineers in Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) , Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece, Dissertation: "Establishing the basic design and implementation parameters of the Greek National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) for the agricultural sector.".
  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Techniques and Methods for Spatial Analysis, Planning and Management, AUTH, Greece, Thesis: "Open GIS Consortium - GML (Geography Markup Language) with open source tools in Java". 

  • BSc - Rural and Surveying Engineer, AUTH , Greece.

Major Projects: 

  • 2009-2012, "GS Soil: Assessment and strategic development of INSPIRE compliant Geodata-Services for European Soil Data" funded by EU, with 34 partners from 18 EU member states that aimed at establishing a European network to improve the access to spatial soil data.
  • 2010-2012, "CLOUD-QUAKE, Collection and public Dissemination of near-real time earthquake shaking information" funded by EU, a pilot project of the VENUS-C research initiative based on Microsoft cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure).
  • 2018-2022, ARIMNet2 call for young researchers, "D4Declic, Dual cropping system, Genetic Diversity, Decision support and Digital tool for Designing Eco-efficient Cereal-Legume Integrated food value Chain in the Mediterranean Basin"
  • 2023-2025, SustainablePeach - Designing Intelligent Farming Services to Improve the Economic Efficiency of Peach Farming
